My Name Is Axl. 5.6' 116 Lb I Really Ned Gain Weight, I M 28 Years Old My Body Looks Like 16 Please. I Need Help.

I Eat Normal Food 3 Times A Day Mornig Afternoon And Night , Water Just The Necesary And I Dont Do To Much Exercise/
So Someone Can Help Me Please.

i agree with the guys. make sure you get into a gym. make sure you eat a decent amount of calories (3500-4500 grams a day) and make sure you get around 250grams of protien daily.

thanks guys, i think my problem is i m so lazy, i need a pill to get energie, and i dont do any kind of drugs. and i ll start eating much. i dont have to much time for a GYM cuz i work 8 am 7 pm it is not a hard job but i ll.

Well, at this point you don't really need to count calories - the more the better. Eat tons of protein: mean, chicken, sea food, turkey, pizza, even ocassional trip to a Burger King won't hurt....as long as you work out at least 3-4 times a week. If you really want to get into that whole nurtition thing - just google it, there is plenty of info on the web. Try to keep your daily protein intake at 1.5 or 2 grams per 1 lbs of body weight.

Bump Demon, eat everything in sight but you have to find time for the gym. That's the bottom line. And as far as the calorie list thing, try picking up a package at the store and turning it sideways once in awhile. Everything has nutritional facts on the package. You really don't need to be too concerned with that right now though. Eat eat eat eat eat and work out. You have to work out bro.

It sounds to me like you're looking for two things. One, the magic pill to make you eat more and grow. Two a diet that will make you big.

Nothing you are talking about is going to make you grow if you don't get your ass in the gym and start training. You can eat all the magic unicorn meat you want but you're still not going to get big and gain muscle.

Muscle requires working out, eating right, and plenty of rest. If you can't do these things then now isn't the time for you to be worrying about it. I see guys in the gym who show up once or twice a month. Why bother? It's a total waste of time. Do it right or don't do it.

Bump the bros - eat every damn thing you can find, it seems like you cant really get much worse than yah are size wise. get lifting consistently, get eating more, and start learning everything yah can.

You'll get used to the food after a couple of days. If you need to, get weightgainer shakes or meal replacement shakes to help you get calories at first while you're trying to get used to eating. Real food is the best though so don't get all your nutrition from these. Just make sure you lift while you're eating all this(not literally while you're eating) or you will definitely be putting on weight that you don't want.

You don't gain muscle by eating crap. You get it by training hard and feeding the muscles properly. Suddenly sitting down and eating a load of shit until you feel like you are going to pop is a great way to end up with a big fat gut.

Being fat isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not when it comes to bodybuilding atleast. I know several bodybuilders that walk with a belly the size of a laundry basket during their off season.

I hear ya but he's only 5'6 and he hasn't been working out. He's also 28 years old which is the time when your body starts deciding to hang onto fat. If he's going to start training then he should do it right. If he needs extra fat in his diet, and I agree he probably does, then it should be the right kids of fats. He can get that and extra calories by drinking protein drinks like Muscle Milk to supplement his diet. Junk food isn't the same thing and it won't have the same results.

Yeah I don't think he has to be all that careful with his diet as of yet. Maybe when he starts to actually gain a few pounds. As long as he eats and makes sure he trains I think his metabolism is gonna take care of the rest considering how thin he is right now.

Sure it will...until he starts jaming a bunch of total shit into his system and he throws a wrench into that sweet metabolism. He isn't 15 years old. He's at an age where your body starts to change on it's own when it comes to storing fat. Besides...do you have any clue how much he could gain if he just started lifting and only ate a little more protien? There's no reason to go overboard when you haven't done shit. That's how people either screw up their body or burn out and quit.

alexnamu ......... i am in the same boat as you, i have a very high metabolic rate and am very slinder when i started my quest to get bigger i was 6'3 and 140 pounds ....... i have to eat all the time to maintain any body mass ..... heres what you need to do ....

1.. you need lots of good carbs and lots of good protien shoot for 250 grams of protein a day and 5000 calories , all of this eating is gona be hard in the start but you will get use to it , stay away from empty calories twinkie is bad green bean is good ..... your body dont like twinkie but it loves green bean .. ya staying with me here ..... eat clean food your body will process it better eggs and beans and fish and red meat, pork, oatmeal, weat, yogurt.... good fats will be your friend ,think peanutt butter ...get your sugars from fruit not procesed cain sugar it is better for you eat apples in the morning and other fruit.... if you dring lots of soda (coke pepsi) stop it fills you up with empty calories that curb appitite drink lot of water instead ... you have to train your body to eat, get it use to it, it will not be easy in the start, i use to make my self half sick eating, but if you want to get big you will need to get dedicated and stick with it ...

2 if you smoke or use snuff... stop it really curbs your appitite this was one of my problems for a long time

3 working out .... you gota do it man if you want to grow ... the body needs to be used in order to get stronger and grow .... but do not over do it ... and do not do alot of cardio ... you will burn to many calories stick with basic work outs bench and squats millitary presses use the search button on this site to find good basic work out for beginners , but i will stress do not over work your body, 4 times a week should suffice if you get a good work out in.... you will also need plenty of rest, good sleep at night is when your body will grow , don't be up all night partying .....
its a basic foundation bro .... eat lots of good clean food ...train your body get plenty of rest and grow......

Well if you're going for a clean diet i think that's pretty good but you still need more food in my opinion. Maybe a couple of protein shakes tossed in here or there.

oh yeah i am hispanic i am from peru but i live in miami i have lived here for 5 years.in my country not to many people take care of there body like i see here in miami. with the nice body and riped stomach thats why i am tring to take care of my body. cuz it looks really nice and healthy.

I say that b/c earlier in the thread he said "I'm lazy" and something about not having time to get into the gym....

Of course he will HAVE to over come that and get motivated but honestly, we all know that even the most hardcore, dedicated weightlifter has problems sticking to a clean bulking diet of chicken, beef, fish, etc with clean carbs.

This guy is just getting into the weightlifting and dieting game....He weighs 116lbs....He doesn't need the same clean bulking diet that a guy who weighs 215lbs needs. If you try to advise him to do that, he's going to end up crashing on that type of diet b/c of his self-admitted lack of determination.

My best advice is to eat everything in sight, ensuring that the majority of it is in the form of protein but ENSURING that he is getting to a gym atleast 4x's a week.

An intake of 2 grams of protien to 1 lb of body wieght is is great for a seasoned gym-rat. But thats just far too much for a novice runt such as Axle.
At least MATCH your wieght in quality protien and eat a TON of slow burning carbs. Im sure you have a metabolism of 16 year old meth-addict so your body is gonna burn up calories quick. Eat 6 to 7 small meals through-out your day and try to at least dip into the 4000 calorie range. Im assuming your gonna go to a gym and hit the wieghts. Get a trainer for your first month so you can understand the art of biulding muscle.
Also, stay the hell away from any kind of cardio training. You need to keep all the calories you can so you cant afford to burn them up in the cardio room. Have a high calorie protien shake at least 3 times a day and sleep a-plenty. And remember, all this doesnt happen overnight, so have lots of patience and determination before any stupid notion of poking needles in your ass that might come into mind. Good luck, now become one with a fork.......
