The same guy who did SuperSize Me has a Tv show called 30 days if you did not already hear about it. On the epidsode last night he has a guy in his mid or late 30's get on a 30 day program to decrease body fat and increase muscle mass and energy levels.
Needless to say the results were successful but there were many flaws that were apparent and lack of research done to prove this point.
We will take for granted that the reason the guy gets on on Hgh at his age, before trying anything else, like say for example, exercising (which he hasn't done since senior year in high school).
The doctor gave the guy 40 'microsupplements' a day. 40 pills....first mistake. His liver tests came back "abnormal" so his wife starts freaking out and then he goes to sperm bank where his sperm count prior to treatment was 75 million (average for humans is 60 million). He less than 100 sperm and they were all dead (indicating testersterone was working and that his testicles shutdown). Not understanding this his wife burst out in tears and started badgering him and being quite the obnoxious wife. Little did they know that it is reversible.
Needless to say, he stopped one week short of his program one week short of 30 days, losing 14 lbs and 15% bodyfat with the help of a personal trainer, correct dieting and weight training.
Good epidsode, should be further follow up on sperm count and there was no indication or statement of PCT which had me concerned.
If you can catch a rerun, I highly suggest it.
