billy732 06-24-2005, 05:34 PM 1. Is there any reasoning behind a manufacturer recommending sterile water over b/w?
2. I understand the conversion rate between iu and ml or whatever but does it matter how much or how little water you use? Like if you have a 6iu vial can you use like only .9 ml of water to make every .3ml 2iu's or would you need to use more water because it would need to be thinned out or something. Basically what I want to know is can you use add or remove water to change the size of the shot?
boowaxwell 06-24-2005, 11:50 PM Yes. A good example of this is HCG, that comes in a solid mass in one vial of 5,000 IU with another vial of water. If you add 5 ml of water to it, each ml then it has 1,000 IU per ml.
billy732 06-25-2005, 03:18 PM No, I've got the conversion ratios down but is it possible to change the amount of water to make the calculations easier. I guess it doesn't matter. Thanx though.

Is there anything "special" about the water that comes with the hcg? I broke a vial awhile back opening it, and spilled the water. I have some bacteriostatic water (.9% alcohol). Do you know if this is OK for mixing hcg?
boowaxwell 06-25-2005, 10:08 PM The difference between water and BA water is how long it will last once you mix them. If you mix HCG with the regular amp water, you risk mold and bacteria forming as it sits in your refrigerator, not an issue if you shoot all 5,000 IU at once. The advantage of BA water is that the alcohol will keep it sterile. One of this sites sponsors, AG-guys, sells great BA water (for research on your lab rats). They sell vials of it, so it does not get exposure, just use your drawing needle to draw the amount of water you want, then inject it into the HCG vial. Now you have a mixed, sterile solution that will last for a very long time in the fridge.
By the way guys, never mix HCG with tap water. You are injecting this into living tissue, just look at how much sediment forms in a glass of tap water left for 24 hours, a sure way to get infections.

Yes, you can add a little more or less water to make the calculations or dose easier to figure out. I would assume you want to stay away from making it super concentrated or super watered down though.
billy732 06-27-2005, 01:23 PM Thanx Won_Sib, I wasn't sure if it mattered.
buffdiggity 06-27-2005, 05:25 PM It doesn't matter. The water is just the delivering agent. Just as long as you're getting the desired amount of hgh in your system.
Bac water will make the hgh last longer than ionic or sterile water.

Thanx Buff, it's weird though the manufacturer recommends sterile water over b/w. Oh well, I'm using the b/w anyways. The length it stays good doesn't really concern me as I'm mixing as I use it.

Well, I don't know what you're running, but let's say you're running 3.33 iu/day out of a 10iu vial. The longevity then becomes important. With Sterile water, your now mixed hgh will last you about 48 hours. Since that's 3 days(72 hrs) worth of shots, you just lost 1 day of hgh. Bac water will make it last a max of 96 hours
billy732 06-28-2005, 03:18 PM They're 6 iu kits and I'm running 4 so the other half will be gone the next day anyway. I'm still using the b/w though.
