Demon 06-23-2005, 09:08 PM I don't know how many you are looking for but I got a couple of huge mirrors from a thrift store for a few bucks each. D QueenofDamned 06-23-2005, 09:32 PM try a "Speedy" or a similar store. you know, the ones that replace windows ect....they have a good selection of full mirrors. T-Bar 06-23-2005, 10:11 PM Look for major stores that are going out of business. I once fitted an entire gym with mirrors for a couple hundred bucks this way. M$$ 06-24-2005, 01:28 AM I fucking hate the mirrors in the gym. I try and do as many lifts as possible facing away from the mirrors. M $ johnnyb 06-24-2005, 01:50 AM I think the mirrors are the best part. Why do you hate them? They're the only projection that tells you your doing it right. M$$ 06-24-2005, 02:28 AM I'll tell ya why. Because I always catch myself watching myself in the mirror. And instead of focusing on things like keeping my head up, keeping my balance, keeping my back tight, etc...I start focusing on what my form looks like in the mirror. It's a recipe for disaster. Especially when squatting and deadlifting. I much prefer having no mirror, and relying on my spotters and/or video to tell me how my form looks. I would say it's just me, but alot of the guys I train with are the same way. M $ jackedupcrazy 06-24-2005, 02:47 AM I'll tell ya why. Because I always catch myself watching myself in the mirror.
