sounds to me like you need to do some resarch, but to get you going in the right direction;
looks like you need to lose a little weight, a hi-protien and low carb diet will get you going in the right direction.
start working out on the machines doing a full body routine for about a month and include 20 minutes of cardio a day (start slow and build on it so u dont burn out) this will get you in good enough shape to start hitting the iron if u are diligent about it.
in the meantime research for weight routines (free weights) find a few and change your routine every six to eight weeks

AND FORGET THE IN SIX WEEKS YOU CAN LOOK LIKE THIS, BECAUSE IT IS ALL BULLSHIT, in six weeks you should look better and feel better, but for lasting results you need to make fitness a life style, and dont lock yourself into bb, find the level of fitness or the activity that you like and do it(dont get me wrong i love bb and have been bb for 8 years, but its not for eveyone but if it is for you then i wish you lots of success)

:bump Let the search key be your best friend. You can also just go into a forum and start reading, this sites been around for a long time so there are pages upon pages of usefull information, all you have to do is find it. Joebfreaky gave you some good advice and if you think about it really pretty common sense, high protien low carb and lots of cardio; cut out all junk food and hit those weights.

you may wanna look into hiring a personal trainer as well just for a couple weeks to get the ball rolling and to show you the proper ways to train.

the biggest thing to remember about "dieting" is that you need more than just a "diet". but a lifestyle change. when you start doing everything more in moderation and working out you will see the changes come. The hardest thing for you to do is remember its gonna take some time, so be patient.

Anything else, you let me know.

hooking you up with a diet plan sounds easy. although, in reality, it's not at all. all i can recommend is reading. go into the forums, pick the forum called nutrition, and read. there is 28 pages of info. each page consists of around 30 threads. each thread usually consists of 2-3 pages of info. so, that is a shit-load of reading and information. we cannot just say: "eat this! or eat that!" it doesn't work like that. true, you must get a base diet, and then you will critique that. everybody reacts differently to certain types of food.

here...i'll try my best to get the ball rolling.

- increase your water intake to at least one gallon a day (128 oz). i would recommend drinking 1 1/2 gallons a day (192 oz).

- eat clean food. this means no junk food from ANY fast food place. eat food that you must physically make from scratch. no more sodas, no fried foods (PAM will be your best friend), stay away from simple sugars, no deserts, etc.

- eat smaller meals. when you eat smaller meals, your body burns what it consumes more efficiently. eat 6-8 (since you're a beginner, i would say 6 meals) a day, but keep the portions small.

- physically write down everything you consume. count the calories, carbs, fats, and protein. put it on an excel spreadsheet so you can easily monitor your diet.

- STAY ON YOUR DIET. DON'T FUCK UP. DON'T QUIT! EVER!

that should get you more than started. now, you must read, read, read, and learn!!!

:yeah

honestly, you're first move should be to get on a treadmill.....or any piece of cardio. hit it up 4-5 times a week and get the bodyfat down. that will vastly improve the appearance of your physique. use weight training as well. try to do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach. this way you'll burn more fat

As long as i do cardio on an empty stomach i should be ok right ? does time matter ? cardio when you just wake up is the worst time to do it any strenuious activity cause for the first few hours you are awake that is when your most prone to having heart attacks and cardio would not help the situation.

please use the search button. you could easily find this info in you were to search and read. it doesn't seem that you are doing that. please go into the forums and read.

LOL I guess I should have been dead 300 times over. Where do you get your information, brother? And please, stop begging for someone to figure out everything for you. Start reading. Reading is fundamental, LOL

Hey if i was already a bodybuilder for sometime i would not be asking questions so i thought this would be the place to ask sorry.

it's okay to ask, really. we just encourage people to read as much as possible. we encourage newcoming members to read the forums and to research on their own, first. thus, the same type of questions can be avoided, instead of being posted all the time. it's very beneficial for you to read as much as you can. the reason being you learn. to further add, you will begin to cross-reference. when you do this, you can even learn more. when you have read through all the forums, used the search button, and still cannot find the information...then you post a new thread. most questions can be answered by merely typing a keyword in the search box.

please do not think we are throwing you into the flames here. i highly doubt that is anyones intent. we are merely asking you to read and learn.

I fully agree with all that's been posted. You're going to have to dedicate yourself to researching nutrition and training programs both on this board and through books/magazines etc.

The advice you've gotten may seem a little cold, but really it's the only way to discover just what works best for you. It's the way I learned, as well as picking up advice over the years from some very seasoned vets.

I would learn about the Glycemic Index if I were you in regards of what kinds of food to eat. Eat low GI carbs throughout the day, but it is important to get high GI, simple carbohydrates in your post workout meal/shake. Don't go too low on your carbs or you will have a hard time getting good muscle gains. Low carb diets will shed the weight fast but you will do much better just supplementing cardio and eating a right proportion of carbs. High protein is where it's at when it comes to muscle gains and fat loss IMO. If you get more into bodybuilding try glutamine and creatine as supps. Shoot for 10xs your bodyweight in calories and work on determining what works for you in terms of calories from there (higher or lower)

you know...you keep implying that you want one of us to give you a diet so you can print it out. you need to search, read, and learn because we are not going to spoonfeed you. we will help you if you help us by actually wanting to learn, instead of having it given to you.

you want a diet that someone will give you...here you go.

meal 1 - food with some fluid while you search

meal 2 - more food with some extra fluid while you read

meal 3 - food, again, while you print it out

meal 4 - figure it out!

What we are (politely) trying to tell you is that you need to stop asking your diet question and start reading everything you can get your hands on. When you have a specific question, like ' how do I put together an ECA stack' or 'what do you guys do for rear delts' - then everyone will gladly share knowledge and experience. Right now you are just being a lazy whiny newbie.
If you want to have a written down plan and you don't want to read - grab Yellow pages or whatever you guys in Canada use for Yellow pages, and have a licensed nutritionist make it up for ya.

1st off welcome and dont take it personal, the 1st time i joined this forum I was 19 and shot out a few wreckless posts and got slammed like mike would of if he was convicted! This spot has a wealth of info on board, hell I went from a buck 60 to 235 w/abs by the time I was 22, (i just turned 24) and I'm 5'7 on a good day! as far as wanting to be a BB READ! Its one extreme game but remeber every athlete takes some kind of risk/sacrifice to achieve what we want!
