Sadly. most of us are too juised up or old or just too generally fucked up to get deployed. I'd think against it until you get their and see what the others are doin for juice. And fuck an insurgant or two up fo da Freakz!

It is only a problem if you or the sender get caught. Care packages are rarely x-rayed and almost never inspected by anyone. Your best chances would to have it concealed with some candy(the orals) and personal hygene(vials).

I have sent a couple of packages with gear to my brother over there and no problems so far. The second time I sent a package with gear in it, it got sent back because he moved bases, so be sure to use an addy that you can get a returned package from unless you just want to write it off as a loss.
