ok, the first time I made my fina and I filtered through the syringe filter, it was hard as hell to push the fina through and it took forever.
This next time I used a different kit and it was hard the first 10mls. I then try to filter the second 10ml and I don't even know what I did, but it squirted right through like butter.
The first time, my fina was so clear, it literally looked like a bottle of piss. This time with the easy filtering, it is still a bit cloudy.
So, it seems like the first method when it was hard as hell to push through filtered awesome, but is it supposed to be that hard?
Any input?

heres a little tip bro, your dont need to mix all the oil and filter it. you can actually just inject most of the oil in the sterile vial and then mix the rest with the fina mix like normal , then your filter wont clog as easily

you may want to order another filter and run it through a second time... If you don't it could possibly lead to an infection..

Bumpin latman and granitedawg. I don't use as much ba as others call for either.

warm the oil up first.. makes a big diff.. also when pushing gets to hard heat the filter in a micro for 30 seconds or so.. sounds like you blew the filter on your second batch.. get a new filter and start over.. I also always prefilter through a coffee filter.. it's amazing huw much gunk you wil catch.. the other tip about only filtering part of the oil is a good one too..

I do all that stuff. I was wondering if I might have blown the filter and that sounds exactly like what I did.
