just had a quick question for the personal trainers out there....i have been interested in getting involved in personal training...and was wondering the best ways for certification and the most reputable or respected certifications...for example a lot of people frown on ACE certifications...any information, guidance or advice is appreciated...thanks to all...

Most gyms will pay for your certification if you train there....The Golds Gym paid for mine, but I actually worked their training for awhile too. Champions where I train at now has the same type program, but they pay for the yearly certifications also if you are an employee.
I mean it is like $240-300 you will save by getting the gym you work out at to pay for it. If not, then alot of places reimburse you the amount of your certification if you are already certified. That would be my first place to start is simply ask the management a couple of local gyms about their certification programs and who they use.
GoodLuck and anymore help, let me know...

I do it part time along with my regular job and school, so it is great!! I set up my clients in time slots that I have available. I get my membership for free too. I also get my supplements, the ones that the gym carries for free too. It is great and saves me a crap load of $$$$.
I love it....getting paid to do something I love to do? It is almost as good as being a professional athelete. ha!Ha! Not exactly, but I like it. Not to mention all the hot babes I train... :asshole2
Let me know how it goes Iron Bro...and GoodLuck
