Hey gang. I want to purchase some used books from amazon.com. I'm a little hesitant over giving my credit card info for a 25 cent book. Is amazon 100% safe? Who sees my credit card info? Amazon.com? Or the seller?

Bro, I have been doing business over the internet forever and a day and have yet to have a problem. the only problem I have had is when someone stole my wifes debit card out of her wallet at the theater.

Amazon, Ebay, overstock.com, Sears, bestbuy you name it, I've done it. You'll have no problems bro. Relax.

This is what I do as far as charging things over the net.

Keep ONE card with lets say 1-2 thousand limit. THATS IT. If someone steals it they cant go nuts with it.

I like doug's idea but the CC companies will protect you anyway.

Ya RIGHT.

I had a credit card stolen and even though the CC coumpany paid for it it keeps showing up as an outstanding balance.

And NO MATTER who I call and write they blow smoke up my ass and say it will be fixed.
So dont rely on those companies to protect you. After they get there money they dont give a shit about you.

I dont love books... I just want to read many "certain" books lol. I;m not one of those people that can pick up anything and read it through. If i'm not hooked in 30 pages I use it as toilet paper. :)
