I'm trying to find the best way to clean your receptors without coming off. I ran a search on the board and didn't come up with anything. The way I usually do it is by coming off totally for about six months, but because I'm on TRT and my natural test levels are well below 100, its really hard on me mentally and physically.

I've read in the past to take this and take that, but nothing as really worked except coming off for long periods of time. What is your experience with this issue? It comes a point when everybody doesn't respond well to the doses they are accustomed to taking and instead of going up on the doses, which is what most people do, I would rather just find a way to clear the receptors up. I don't want to say the dosage I'm up to when on cycle because I don't want the newbie's to copy my dosage of test. My TRT dosage has always stayed the same though, 200mg/EW or EOW depending on how I feel.

I know this subject has been beat in the head several times with different opinions and methods, but would like to know your experience with it. Thanks for your input.

some say the idea of receptors getting clogged is a myth. I really don't know.

but I run high doses also (2g test) and then drop down to a maintence dose between cycles (300mg). my gains have slowed down a lot, but I think its because of my size. once you start to get large you have to fight for every lb.

I have been on for 5 years and firmly do not belive that receptors get clogged or down regulate. Only reason the body stops growing after long periods of time is 1, it does not want to be that new size, so it trys to get back to where it was comfortable, and of course the inevitable fact that comes with training wethwer on or off gear, the law of deminishing returns, wich is exponential in terms of body building/streangth training. I cruse and blast and add shit every so often. I have run over 3grams of gear before, but am currently getting good gains from low dose sus and dbol preworkout, and only pre workout. After 5 years, you would think that would not be the case if the receptor hype was true. I actually feel that your body, in response to the added hormones actually upregulates receptors, especialy androgen receptors as seen with tren.

Everytime i have issues with not growing it always comes down to my diet. I will tweak it. Or take a week off from the gym. Last time i "cleansed" my body and that seemed to help ALOT.

Fasted for a day...then hit the xlax and apple juice. Then got back on track wtih diet. Seems to work well for me.

on a side note i have read studies in the past that the receptors DONT downregulate. Infact its the opposite. Ill try and dig those articles up...but i think the problem is more insulin sensitivity etc.
