I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it will be hard to measure 500iu in a 3ml syringe. Should I add water to it, or just use a smaller syringe. Drawing with a 3ml is gonna be what, like .25ml? NO CARRIER 08-11-2008, 03:12 PM crack open the hcg powder ampule. crack open the bacteriostatic water ampule. draw up the 1cc of bacteriostatic water with a 3cc syringe. inject water slowly into powder amp. the powder will dissolve instantly. draw up the 1cc of constituted HCG (the now mixed water + powder) into your 3cc syringe. draw up some additional air in the syringe. there, now you have storage. keep it stored in the fridge with the needle pointing up. when you need to draw your 500iu, use an insulin syringe. unscrew the needle tip from the 3cc syringe, stick the needle from the insulin syringe inside, draw up the required fluid. then re-cap your 3cc syringe and put it back in your fridge. 500iu is the 10 mark on your insulin syringe. insulin syringes come in packages of 10, which is perfect... since you only need 10 syringes. hope this helps. Thanks, Is that insulin pin long enough to do intramuscular or is that subQ? NO CARRIER 08-11-2008, 05:01 PM SubQ. note that if your hcg is 1ml - 2500iu, then 500iu is the 20 mark on your insulin syringe. skinnee1 08-11-2008, 09:18 PM ok, thanks, dang it! I don't know how to do subcutaneous (however you spell it) I'll look into it though Jeff cash 08-12-2008, 10:52 AM 1 inch pinch approx 6 inches from belly button, pinch with index finger and thumb. get bubbles out of pin and fire away..hope this helps skinnee1 08-13-2008, 12:27 AM Great advice folks. I did just like you said Nocarrier. Works like a charm. I Duct taped my syringe to the back of the fridge pointing up so it doesn't get disturbed.lol |
