These days, there are many infomercials on Ab stimulatros to get your desired 6pack in just a fraction of the time yada, yada, yada.

Well, I was thinking of buying one and using it as a massager on a spot wich I have recently injected. Would I be able to use it this way.

Heres my theory, the longer you keep massaging the muscle, the better the distribution of oil. Lets say I give myself a shot in the thighs..........after the shot, strap on a ab stimulator and keep it on for an hour.

I assume, the smaller the device the better it would be to use on smaller bodyparts....like, delts, calfs, bis, tris..........for the glutes, I guess you could just sit on it for a while.

Let me know what you guys think and one more thing, I think there are different types of stimulatros......one uses electrical pulses(I assume this would not be the best option) and the ones that have a massaging motor in them(like those massage pads).....let me know if im right or wrong.

Interesting theory Cardi, I wait to see what other have to say, If it does not work at least your muscles will be lose

Most of the Ab stimulators you see on TV, like the one's by IGIA are knock off tens units.... They are all electro stim..... I don't know what you mean by an ab stim. that has massager's in it.....

There are electric massagers that you can buy, seen them on stores and tv. Wouldn't they help since more blood would be brought to the muscle and then the muscle would be warmer, would this help with the distribution of as in the system?

I got my wife an Abtronic for x-mass and let me tell ya that thing kicks ass. You cant put it on max or you'll be doubled over. It gives great contractions and has about 10 differant types of pulses. I'm using it now to help a knee surgery I just had 3 weeks ago. It's helping bring my thigh back nicely.

Cardi, I like the theory. Kudos on the idea. Now, some sort of massager would be a good idea IMO. But the electric stimulator devices would cause the muscle to contract and that might lead to further soreness. If you have a wife or dedicated girlfriend you could save a few bucks and have her massage the area for a few hours...

IMO, I think it would probably work great for that, as for getting results, I like the old fashion way, called exercising, lol. But hey, Don't we ALL wish we could go to sleep as string beans, and wake up massive freaks.

ok my son has bought one of these ab stimulators....it was like $50 I think....does this thing really work? I figured it would be good on an injured/unused muscle......

Thanks for the feedback guys. In my current cycle, Im doing everday shots of Propinate and Fina and let me tell you.........they are crippling me! Im not massaging the muscle very often due to the different body parts which are injected every day. I figure its pretty easy to strap on one of these devices and continue doing what I have to do around the house while my body part is being massaged. I did a little research on it and this is what I came up with.

I was right when I stated that there are 2 types of these abdominal gadgets. There is the ones that emit a electrical pulse to the muscle causing it to contract(just like Chesty mentioned) and the ones that use a simple vibrating motor like those vibrating chairs or pads. My suggestion is not to get the electrical ones for the purpose of massaging your muscle(For reasons wich were mentioned by Chesty). Get the vibrating motor ones(there cheaper too).

Below is the link for the cheapest one that I have found, its called The Electro-Gym+ by Igia. Its $20+s/h and its just a motor that vibrates. You can strap it to multiple body parts and there are various intensity levels. I will buy this and try it out. Ill let you guys know how it works out.

I was told by a doctor to order one to help rebuild my pec muscle after i tore it on the flat bench about 2 years .... it tore the pec about half the way between the arm pit and the nipple... no surgery could fix it so the Dr said because you cant stitch muscle back to muscle or it will tear back apart.
So as a last resort i bought a "Tens" electiral stimulator and started useing it on my pec at the site that i tore it.

Now, i was very sceptical that this would ever work because i actually shot synthol in the pec for a year without any change hardly.
I tried the Electros and guess what? I swear i am not bullshitting you, in 7 days time there is a difference like night and day.
The hole in the pec is filling in with muscle from under the torn muscle and is looking more normal by the day.
I am also shooting some Mexivet Prop in the pec to help site enhance the area but that i have been doing for a while, only when i added the electros did it start changing.

My opinion, these things work, i have a friend who does research at a muscle repair clinic in Atlanta that says these things actually split the muscle and make "more" muscle grow from it.
If you do a search on Google.com of muscle stimulators it will also tell you that the Russian power lifters and body builders have used these devices for 14 years to build muscle... with much success. I am now a true believer my self.
